Dibby Flint has nearly twenty years of experience in the Interior Design Industry.  Upon graduating from Connecticut College with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Art History and Architectural Studies, she began her career at the acclaimed fabric house Brunschwig & Fils, Inc.  While working, she supplemented her education by receiving a Certificate of Decorative Arts from the Boston Architectural College.  Later she honed her professional experience at notable Boston Area Design Firms, and eventually dedicated her full focus on her own company, Dibby Flint Design, in 2009.

Numerous influences contribute to Dibby’s design style including her childhood in historic Concord, Massachusetts and time living in Paris, France, as well as her grandmother who collected antiques (mostly Chinese artifacts).  Dibby has a great love for antiques and period architecture, and combines such understanding with her appreciation for contemporary pieces.  This along with Dibby's keen sense of scale and proportion and her natural eye for color, texture and pattern, combine for a well balanced juxtaposition of classic style and updated elements.

Dibby Flint Design offers a range of services from hourly consultation and staging, to collaborations with architects and builders on large scale construction projects.  Dibby especially loves the excitement of taking a client through all stages of a project, from a preliminary vision until the last detail is complete.  The goal is to achieve a design appropriate and practical for the client’s lifestyle and taste while complementing the architecture of the home.

Dibby works from her homes in Milton, MA and Kennebunkport, ME.  She happily travels throughout New England and beyond for varying projects, most recently completing a major home renovation in Southern Maine, and beginning work in Nashville, TN for a client who relocated from MA.
